Writing Prompt 7/2/12

This is kind of a pre-prompt. It involves you making some notes, or paragraphs, or pages, about previous 4th of July holidays. What do you remember most?
Make a run down of all the sensations/impressions. On a second pass, try and root them in the physical senses. What the air hot and humid, or just hot? What flavors do you remember most? Smells? What sounds? And special sensations on your skin you remember?
Write a list of these to start.
